Send Your Set to Rekordbox, Serato, Traktor or a USB
Every set exports as a playlist your DJ software opens, in the order SetFlow built it. Your library files are never modified.
Pick a format
On Create, press Export playlist above your set. In History, use Export on any set. Both offer the same six formats:

The one marked Recommended comes first. SetFlow picks it from the DJ software your library came from, or from your choice in Settings → Set defaults. On the free trial you can export 3 sets.
Load it into your DJ software
- Export the
.m3u8(Rekordbox). - In Rekordbox, use File → Import Playlist, or drag the
.m3u8into your playlists. - The set appears as a playlist, in SetFlow's order.
- Export the
.crate(Serato). - Close Serato and drop the file into
_Serato_/Subcrates/. - Open Serato again. The set is under Crates.
- Export the
.m3u(Traktor). - Drag the file into Playlists in Traktor's browser.
- The set appears as a playlist, in SetFlow's order.
Onto a USB for CDJs
SetFlow doesn't write to a USB itself. Load the set into Rekordbox as above, then export that playlist to your USB from Rekordbox, as you would any other. The USB for CDJs guide covers formatting the stick and checking it before the gig.
If a playlist opens empty in Rekordbox
A playlist points at each track's file, using the file location from your last import. If you've moved or renamed your music since, or some tracks came in without a location, Rekordbox can't find them.
- Export a fresh collection from your DJ software.
- Import it into SetFlow again (step 8). Your sets stay.
- Export the set again and load the new file.
Exporting a crate tells you up front how many of its tracks have no file location, so you know before you open your DJ software.
Questions
Why does my playlist open empty in Rekordbox?
The playlist points at each track’s file location from your last import. If you have moved or renamed files since, or a track came in without a location, Rekordbox cannot find it. Export a fresh collection, re-import it into SetFlow and export the set again.
Which format should I pick?
