Install SetFlow as an App on Your Phone or Desktop

SetFlow is now a Progressive Web App. That means you can install it directly to your phone's home screen or your desktop — it launches like a native app, with its own icon, no browser chrome, and instant access to your DJ library.

Why Install SetFlow?

Opening a browser, typing a URL, and navigating to your library adds friction every time you want to check your tracks or tweak a set. With SetFlow installed as an app, you tap the icon and you're in — straight to your library, your sets, your gigs. No address bar, no tabs, no distractions.

It's especially useful on mobile. You might want to review your setlist on the way to a gig, edit a track's energy rating while listening on headphones, or quickly check your gig calendar. A dedicated app icon makes all of that one tap away.

How to Install on iPhone / iPad

1. Open setflow.app in Safari
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up)
3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”
4. Tap Add — SetFlow appears as an app on your home screen

On iPad, SetFlow runs in its own window with full-screen support. On iPhone, it launches in standalone mode with the status bar matching SetFlow's dark theme.

How to Install on Android

1. Open setflow.app in Chrome
2. You should see an “Install app” banner at the bottom of the screen. Tap Install
3. If the banner doesn't appear, tap the three-dot menu and select “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”

On Android, SetFlow gets its own entry in your app drawer and recent apps list, just like any app from the Play Store.

How to Install on Desktop

1. Open setflow.app in Chrome, Edge, or Brave
2. Look for the install icon in the right side of the address bar (it looks like a monitor with a down arrow)
3. Click it and confirm — SetFlow opens in its own window

On macOS, it appears in your Dock and Launchpad. On Windows, it appears in your Start menu and taskbar. You can also create a desktop shortcut during installation.

What Works Offline?

SetFlow caches your library data locally, so you can browse your tracks, review your sets, and check your gig calendar even without an internet connection. Actions that require the server — like generating a new set or importing tracks — will sync when you're back online.

Automatic Updates

Unlike native apps, you never need to manually update SetFlow. When we ship new features, the PWA updates automatically the next time you open it. You always get the latest version without visiting an app store or waiting for a download.
